Delete your account and data

You can request this without signing in.

How this works

  1. Enter the email address on the account. We email a single-use confirmation link.
  2. Clicking that link schedules permanent erasure 14 days later. Nothing is deleted before you confirm.
  3. During those 14 days you can cancel from the same email or from Settings.

Export your books first

HiveMoney holds your financial records. Deletion is permanent and we do not keep a copy for you. Sign in and use Export before confirming if you need your records for tax or accounting purposes.

What is deleted, and what is kept

  • Hives, apiaries, inspections, harvests and tasksPermanently erased when the deletion runs.
  • Financial records (invoices, bills, journal entries, ledgers)Permanently erased. Export your books first — HiveMoney does not keep a copy on your behalf.
  • Uploaded files (receipts, photos, documents)Removed from storage when the deletion runs.
  • Sign-in activity logErased with the account; also auto-pruned after 30 days regardless.
  • Deletion request recordKept indefinitely (email address, timestamps, outcome) as proof the request was honoured. Contains no operational data.
  • Aggregate, non-identifying usage countersRetained. Cannot be linked back to you once the account is erased.

Deleting the account is not the same as cancelling

Cancelling a paid plan stops billing and keeps your data on the free tier. Deleting the account erases the data. If you only want to stop paying, sign in and change your plan instead.

We show the same confirmation whether or not an account exists for the address you enter, and nothing happens until the link emailed to that mailbox is opened.
